Friday letter October 27

Hello Parents,   Thank you all for meeting with me this week.  I enjoyed talking together about your terrific kids and thinking and planning for their success.

Spelling: Lesson 7, long I, will be due November 3

Math    We will be practicing 6’s next week and have the 6’s test on Friday.  We will be looking at fractions for a week or two. Cooking is a great way to practice equivalent fractions!  If you and your student make something together (using fractionsJ), we would enjoy sharing the fruits of your labors.

Social Studies- We will be learning more about our wonderful state this week.

CCA’s Carnival is Friday, November 3rd - This is always a terrific, fun family event.  I am looking forward to it J.  Just so you know CCA’s website now has volunteer opportunities and links to the signup genius for these events.  On our website, choose the News & Information tab, CCA upcoming events that need volunteers are listed.  Parents can click on the event and be taken directly to the signup genius for that event.
