February 16

Hi- I don't know what happened to the layout- but all the info is here.
Dear Families,
Thank you for your prayers for my dad.  He is much better since he has three new stents. The surgery was Tuesday, so my mom said that “he has a new and improved, well improved anyway, heart for Valentine’s Day!”  Thank you again.  I have not been able to get any papers corrected this week, so the stack of returned papers will be light.

Homework:
Spelling: The new workbook for lesson 19 went home today.  It focuses on plurals, always hard to remember.
Math: 0-10 division.  Keep reviewing, it makes allllll math easier.
Passport:   The test is February 23rd
Reading/LA:   Read Read Read.
Key boarding 2-3 times a week.  The next goal is to finish the last 20 lessons, 9 tests.  The lessons start being easier once we are past the original set.  Please keep an eye-out that they are using the proper fingers in the proper places.
Bible:  2 Corinthians 5:21.  I am pleased with the students who took the initiative and memorized the Bible verse this week.  However, because I was gone, I didn’t do the BV test today.  We will have the test next Friday.
Auction News:  We have a few things for our basket, thank you to those families!  Please remember to send some things if you are able.
