Week of Nov 1 plans:
Math:  Fractions, Fractions, Fractions (the imperativeness of knowing math facts COLD will be upon us soon when we start making equivalent fractions, and adding and subtraction fractions with un-like denominators!)  Workbook pages:  73-80
Science:  More focus on animals and habitats:   Study Guide used to study for quiz on Wednesday.   Read pgs 14- 17 Questions 1-3 pg 17, read pgs 21-23 Questions 1-3 pg 23 with Think Share Pair partner
Social Studies:  Intro to Colonial America   pgs 33-38 in text.  Comprehension questions  4 A and 4B
Reading/ Language Arts: Topic sentences/body/ good details enhance the text of stories and thank you letters.  Fact and opinion.  Reading Log due.   Final draft of thank you letters  due Thursday.  Oral reading evaluation.  
Spelling Lesson 8 soft “o” WB p31 and 32 HW  Test Friday
Bible review truth of our Bible verses from skit, practice skit.  With props and on stage.

Math:  Workbook pages 43-52  and drilling on 4’s and 5’s times tables- timed quizzes 3’s and 4’s.  

Bible:  Psalm 95: 2-3

Language Arts: 
            Grammar:  Ending Punctuation/Commas  pgs 3-5 of grammar packet
            Spelling:  Review unit lesson 6  test Friday wb pgs 21-24 homework
            Reading :  Akiak-  Story Mountain (parts of a story) Conflicts/genre/vocabulary
            Writing:  Beginning work on paragraph about a favorite memory- 
           Write  Traits workbook pgs 6-10

Science:  Read pgs 60-65 Finish chapter 3/review/quiz on Friday

Social Studies:  pgs 26-29- chapter quick quizzes each section.  Korean presentation on Friday
