October 12

Homework:
Spelling:  Yes, we are having spelling this short week. It is a review week, so it shouldn’t be too hard.   The workbook went home today;   however the test isn’t until MONDAY, October 19th.
Math: Two tests this week on the 4’s multiplication.  Next week we will do 4’s division.
Reading- Read, Read, Read during the time away from school.
Bible:  2 Timothy 2:15-  The test will be NEXT Monday, October 19th.
Chapel:  In chapel Mr. Graham has been talking about putting others before ourselves- a hard concept!
One of the ways that we encourage this concept is to help Ana Maribel and Mfunelo (the two children that we sponsor with World Vision). We collect an offering each week during the week in class and then put it in the large collection on Tuesdays during chapel.  Please help us encourage generosity.
The fourth grade’s perfectly painted patterned pumpkin parade is coming right up.  Please send a small to medium pumpkin to school this week.  We will be painting them on Monday.  It is best if your student writes his or her name in permanent marker on the bottom.  Pumpkins tend to look alike …..
